Lasting peace from God gives us comfort, especially during times where we wrestle with the discomforts of this world. Peace defined by the world is: “a state of freedom from war, violence, conflict, noise, or mental stress.” This peace is not guaranteed and often temporary, unlike the peace Jesus gives us: a confident and assuring peace that sustains us when we accept Jesus into our lives and hearts. This peace helps us see life's difficult moments from a new perspective.

“A friend loves at all times” Proverbs 17:17

"A friend loves at all times." Meaning that genuine love remains consistent through joy and hardship. Genuine love is not only present when it’s ‘easy.’ The verse continues, "and a brother is born for a time of adversity." This Proverb showcases whether or not our friendships harbour loyalty. Are we there for our 'true' friends during personal struggles? If yes, our friendships are portraying a biblical principle of loyal love. To reiterate, when we face "adversity," a true "brother" will stand with us in love. This shows us the reliability and loyalty of our friends, who become like family (like a "brother").

Paul wrote five directions for the Corinthians in 1 Corinthians 16:13–14, one of them was about love. Paul mentions this direction for guidance to the Corinth Church who were acting selfishly. When we decide to do everything according to God’s definition of love, we are putting God’s perfect design into practice. What is God’s definition of love? God defines love through different words in Hebrew and Greek: Overall, it points to, ‘being rooted into action,’ ‘it’s unearned and initiatory,’ and ‘relational and binding.’ Most importantly, it's sacrificial love. It’s an active choice that we make, not just a fleeting feeling/ emotion.

  • They can be used for handwritten notes, encouragement, prayers, gifts, birthdays, or simply as a meaningful reminder to keep somewhere special.

  • These cards were created from a desire to combine creativity and faith, making something beautiful that can encourage people and point them back toward God.

  • My intention isn't to put a price on faith or Scripture. I'm creating artwork inspired by my faith, and selling the physical product allows me to continue creating, designing and sharing that work. I hope these cards encourage people, start conversations and remind us of God's presence in everyday life.
